From Mom to Handbalancer: My Story

Ever found yourself watching your kids at practice, wanting to join in on the fun, but feeling like it’s too late to reclaim that sense of movement and vitality? That was me not too long ago, sitting on the sidelines, yearning to move better, feel stronger, and rediscover a part of me that felt lost to time.

I had doubts. My strength was gone, flexibility felt like a distant memory, and that nagging voice in my head kept telling me I was too old for this. But I made a choice—a choice to challenge that voice, to reject the idea that my time had passed. Instead, I believed I could rebuild, regain my vitality, and reclaim a passion I once thought was behind me.

Fast forward, and here I am—a handbalancer. Through focused training and a commitment to myself, I’ve transformed. I move better, feel stronger, and, most importantly, I feel alive again.

This journey wasn’t just about physical transformation; it was about finding myself again after years of feeling disconnected. It was healing. I dove into the world of hand-balancing, unsure of what I’d achieve. But every handstand, every hold, every moment of progress became a victory—a reminder that limits are often self-imposed, and with determination, we can defy them.

Now, as a calisthenics coach, I help others on their own journey of rediscovery. We’ll rewrite your story together, reignite your love for movement, and prove it’s never too late to move better, feel stronger, and take back that spark—one handstand at a time.
